OEM brass floats tend to develop pin holes in the solder joints over time.  This will allow fuel to fill the float, disabling the ability to shut fuel off to the bowl of the carburetor.  This will cause the carburetor to over flow gas from the carburetor vent lines.

Aftermarket brass carburetor float.  Direct replacement for several different Honda models.  Please see fitment chart for exact fitment details.
